Extended Information/Photos: The Russian Convent of Our Lady of Vladimir was founded in 1948. The nuns maintain three churches. They operate a Russian grade school, print and publish books, supply city parishes with prosphoras (altar breads), and manufacture candles. Vigil services are held on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings at 5:30pm. The Hours and Divine Liturgy are celebrated on Sunday starting at 9:30am, Monday thru Wednesday and Saturday at 8:00am. Reader services are held on Thursdays and Fridays.
The monastery is generally not open for visitation without calling the monastery first. There are 1-2 pilgrimages and conferences each year and occasional study groups.

Extended Information/Photos: Three days of hospitality, including meals, are provided in the monastery guest house for men only. No children under 16. No smoking, radios, or personal food are permitted on the grounds. Guests are expected to dress modestly, to avoid interaction or conversation with the monks (except the Abbot and guestmaster), and to attend Matins, Vespers, and the daily Liturgy. While visitors from all Orthodox jurisdictions are welcome, the monastery is strictly traditionalist and follows the Julian Calendar.

The customary 3 days of hospitality is observed, but longer visits can be arranged if necessary. No electric or electronic devices, tobacco, or alcohol are permitted. Visitors should dress modestly.
