Monastery description

The Monastery has been established at 16th century and then reconditioned by Michael the Brave. The architecture has been finalized by Dinicu Buicescu in 1645.
The Monastery has suffered severe fires, earth quakes and almost completely destroyed during the the first WW.
The restoration has been made in 1958 and conferred the present architecture.
It is a nuns Monastery, having guest facilities and store with cult items. The Monastery has under its governing the Streharet Skete situated in the neighboring area of Slatina City.
